Shenzhen-based Android flash tool VROOT has received tens of millions U.S. dollars from Tencent, according to the announcement on the company’s official Weibo account.
VROOT, which belongs to Shenzhen Xinyi Network, previously received RMB6 million series A funding from Tencent in 2012.
Tencent acquired another flash tool in April 2012.
Lately, Tencent has announced a number of deals, including investing in online travel site 17u.cn, Yelp-like review website Dianping.com, howbuy.com and China South City.
