Equis Funds Raises $1.7B For Asian Energy, Infrastructure Investments

Equis Funds Group, a pan-Asian fund manager focused on the energy and infrastructure sectors, has completed fundraising of US$1.7 billion for Asian energy and infrastructure investments, according to a company announcement.

This brings the firm’s total assets-under-management to US$2.7 billion.

The fundraising comprises a single close of US$1 billion for Equis Asia Fund II, which closed in December 2012, a single close of US$300 million for Equis Direct Investment Fund, as well as an additional US$400 million from existing partners committed to Japan Solar and Energon, two existing investments under the firm’s first fund.
