Sequoia Capital Leads $10M Series B In China’s 1006.tv


Beijing-based Chinese mobile game media 1006.tv has received US$10 million series B financing led by Sequoia Capital, according to a company’s announcement.

Chinese private equity firm ClearVue Partners also participates in this round of financing.

The company previously received several millions of U.S. dollars in series A financing led by Matrix Partners in 2013. In 2011, it received several millions of RMB angel investment from Matrix Partners.

Founded in 2009, 1006.tv offers media evaluation services such as mobile games ranking and mobile games reviews. It also provides news, introductions and reviews about mobile game-related products.

By June 2014, 1006.tv has 36 million registered users, with daily active users reaching 1.7 million.
