China Names New Central Bank Deputy Governor To Replace IMF’s Zhu Min

China’s State Council has appointed Zhang Tao as deputy governor of the country’s central bank, according to an official announcement on its website today.

The appointment is to prepare for Zhang Tao to replace Zhu Min as the deputy managing director of the International Monetary Fund in July, says Caixin Media.
