Hong Kong-based hedge fund eFusion has hired Daniel Heyler, a veteran technology equity analyst at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch, as chief executive officer, the company announced.
Heyler will work closely with chief investment officer Fred Wong to focus on advancing its research capabilities, enhancing fund performance and growing assets under management at the firm, which specializes in global technology investments.
Heyler has 25 years of experience in the global technology sector, including 16 years as an equity analyst at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch. Prior to joining eFusion, he was senior director at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
Heyler holds an M.B.A. degree from the Kellogg School of Management and B.A. degree from Bowdoin College.
