DerbySoft Receives Over $9M Series C Financing From DCM

Shanghai-based travel information technology company DerbySoft has received over US$9 million series B funding from DCM, according to Chinese media reports.

DerbySoft previously received US$6.5 million series A funding from Northern Light Venture Capital in 2009. It received tens of millions U.S. dollars series B funding from Keytone Ventures and Northern Light Venture Capital in 2011.

The company says it will use the proceeds to promote its marketing service project named Meta Search Manager.

Founded in 2002, DerbySoft is a global technology company serving hotel companies and the hospitality distribution industry. It has offices in Japan, Europe, and the United States.

Partners of the company include tour operators and travel agencies such as Orbitz and Expedia, most of the top 10 global hotel chains including Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott, and smaller regional chains in Europe and China.
