Levin Zhu Resigns As CICC’s CEO

China International Capital Corporation (CICC) has announced that Levin Zhu, the son of China’s former premier Zhu Rongji, has resigned as CEO and chairman of the management committee from the Beijing-based firm, according to a company announcement.

The board has appointed Shoukang Lin as CICC’s acting CEO and chairman of the management committee. Shoukang Lin will take the lead of the management team to preside over the firm’s daily operation.

Levin Zhu has been with CICC for over the past 16 plus years. Under his leadership, CICC has established a research based full-service investment bank business framework of three major business segments, investment banking, sales and trading, as well as investment management.

CICC also expanded its network in Mainland China, New York, London, Singapore and Hong Kong.
