In October, China’s consumer price index (CPI) increased 3.2% year-on-year. On a month-on-month basis, CPI was up 0.1%.
Food prices hiked 6.5%. Non-food prices were up 1.6%. Consumer product prices increased 3.2% and services prices rose 3.1%。
From January to October, average CPI was up 2.6% year-on-year.
China’s producer price index (PPI) dropped 1.5% year-on-year. On a month-on-month basis, PPI remained steady.
From January to October, average PPI dropped 2% year-on-year.
