China’s imports and exports in November reached US$370.6 billion, up 9.3% year-on-year, much higher than expected. Chinese exports hit US$202.2 billion, up 12.7%, setting a historical record. Chinese imports was US$168.4 billion, up 5.3%, according to China’s General Administration of Customs.
In November, China’s trade surplus expanded 73.4% to US$33.8 billion.
For the first eleven months, China’s cumulative foreign trade hit US$3.77 trillion, up 7.7%. China’s trade surplus during the same period expanded 18.3% to US$234.1 billion.
China’s bilateral trade with the U.S. increased 7.6%. Its trade with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) expanded 10.9%. Trade between the Mainland and Hong Kong went up 19.8%.
