Baidu Leads $15M Series C Round For Fashion Site Yoka

Beijing-based Chinese fashion website Yoka says that the company has received US$15 million series C funding led by Baidu, according to a company announcement.

Existing investors Hearst Corporation, Matrix Partners, IDG Capital and new investor Fidelity Growth Partners also participated.

Tang Hesong, vice president of Baidu, will join the board of Yoka.

Yoka received series A funding from Hearst and IDG in 2009, and series B funding from Matrix Partners, Hearst and IDG in 2011.

The specifics of the two rounds were not disclosed.

Founded in 2006, Yoka is a vertical website targeted at premium brands and fashion industry in China. Its affiliated websites include Yokamen, Yoka Mobile and Yoka Mall.

The company currently has nearly 400 staff members. It also has a branch in Shanghai.
