Shanghai-based cloud storage service provider Qiniu.com has received tens of millions U.S. dollars series C financing led by CBC Capital, according to the company’s official announcement on Weibo.
Existing investors Matrix Partners and Qiming Venture Partners also participated in the round.
The proceeds will be used for developing Qiniu’s infrastructures and cloud systems, says the company.
Qiniu previously received an undisclosed amount series B financing from Qiming in 2012, and series A financing from Matrix Partners in 2011.
Founded in 2011, Qiniu offers one-stop enterprise data management services. During its first two years of operation, it obtained 100,000 institutional clients in China.
CBC Capital is founded by former CEO of China Netcom Group, Edward Tian. It has invested in Chinese technology companies including Yongche.com.
