Li Ka-Shing’s Horizons Ventures Invests In Impossible Foods

Hong Kong-based Horizons Ventures, the private investment of Asia’s richest man Li Ka-Shing, has participated in an investment round for California-based artificial meat maker Impossible Foods Inc., according to media reports.

The investment round totaled US$75 million, with participation from other unnamed investors.

Impossible Foods develops new technologies to produce plant-based foods that outperform existing meat and dairy products in taste and nutrition, at a lower cost and with a much lower impact on the global environment.
